Monty's Dog Beach & Bar, Crikvenica
Located at the tip of Crikvenica’s Podvorska marina, just a 5-minute walk from the town centre, this pebble beach is considered one of the best dog-friendly beaches in Croatia. It offers a "5-star summer holiday" experience for dogs with amenities like dog showers (free except in peak season), drinking water, water bowls, and a beachside dog playground. The on-site bar serves both human and dog treats, including dog-specific ice cream and beer. Off-leash play is allowed, but supervision is required. Natural shade is limited; however, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent. Paid parking is nearby. Entry is free.
Mala Draga Cove, Novi Vinodolski
This peaceful pebble cove, about 1 km south of Povile, offers a natural setting with some shade. It’s ideal for dogs that enjoy a quieter environment. There are no amenities, but the beach is easily accessible by car via a road below the highway.
Vlaska Cove Dog Beach, Senj
About 5 km south of Senj in the Vlaska Bay (also known as Planikovac), this beach features gravel and rocky areas, trash bins, and a small park with a bench and a table. Parking is available, but natural shade is minimal.

Kantrida Dog Beach, Rijeka
Located beneath the Kantrida football stadium, this urban dog beach features a pebbly and rocky shoreline, with a dedicated section for pets. Facilities include a dog shower with a rubber hose. The beach is accessible by car or public transport, with free parking.
Brajdica Dog Beach, Rijeka
Found in the Pecine neighbourhood of Rijeka, this gravel and rock beach located includes a dog shower and water access. Natural shade is limited, but the area is peaceful and close to the city.
Mikulova kava, Kostrena
This fenced dog-friendly beach is located below the Kostrena promenade. It offers waste bags, a dog shower, and a mix of rocky, stone, and concrete surfaces. Easy access by car makes it convenient for families with pets.
Punta Kolova Dog Beach, Opatija
Situated between Opatija and Icici on the scenic Lungomare promenade, this fenced beach offers a blend of gravel and rocky terrain. Amenities include dog showers, waste bins, and fresh water. Accessible only by foot.
Lovran Dog Beach
Just east of Lovran beneath Villa Frappart, this small pebble beach provides a tranquil environment with some natural shade. It lacks facilities but is ideal for peaceful seaside walks with your dog.
Moscenicka Draga Dog Beach
A compact beach with pebbles and rocks, this spot offers a freshwater hose for dogs. There’s no shade, but it’s perfect for short, refreshing visits.
