About the zipline...
The adventure begins at the plateau below Hotel "Lovac," where experienced guides will lead you throughout the experience. They will explain all the safety rules and technical details, ensure your safety, and help you to put on the equipment.
The Pazin zipline features four lines, reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h. The first two lines are shorter, each about 80 meters long, while the third and fourth lines are 220 and 280 meters respectively. Although the first two lines don’t offer much in terms of views, the third line ends in the courtyard of the Writers' House near the castle. The fourth line is the longest and most thrilling—measuring 280 meters. It offers breathtaking views of Pazin Cave and the castle above, ending at the Babina Kuca viewpoint. Enjoy the scenery that has inspired artists and writers like Vladimir Nazor, Leon Benetta, and Jules Verne. The entire experience lasts between 30 and 50 minutes, depending on the number of participants and breaks. After landing, it’s just a 5-minute walk back to the starting point.
Important information for tourists:
- Dress in comfortable sportswear and wear closed, sturdy shoes
- The zipline can be used by persons up to 120 kilograms
- Children under 16 need written permission from their parents to use the zipline
- Children weighing less than 35 kg can fly only in tandem with an experienced zipline guide
- Please check the operating hours in advance, especially if you are visiting outside the summer season. During off-season, the zipline operates only for guided tours with a minimum of 5 participants.
- In summer, the zipline is usually open from 10 AM to 6 PM
